The combination of this properties give to the Creusabro 8000 an exceptional wear resistance in heavy plates with uniform properties throughout the thickness around 8 times that of the standard mild steel ( A572 G65 grade) . The properties in extreme conditions are 50% superior to standard water quenched steel ( hardness 500HB) . Creusabro 8000 is supplied with the hardness of 420 HB in order to easy the fabrication.
